Two weeks after my eye operation

I opened my fridge today and saw lots of flies in it !  After cleaning it out I realized the flies are debris in my eyeballs not flies.  This is happening a lot.  I see ants walking across my dinner plate, swarms of gnats etc.  I can see so many bubbles that I think the Surgeon filled my eyeball with Champagne but at least I can see the bubbles  : )

  1. Don't worry too much Marion. I've had surgery on both of my eyes and I had exactly the same for months. Now I get some 'flies' now and again which take a few weeks to clear, then have it clear for a week maybe and more appear. It is all the dead cells floating around due to the surgery. I've also got a permanent bubble in my left eye and when bored I chase it around the room!!! Your brain will switch a lot of them off and you'll only be aware of the more larger or persistent ones.

  2. Flies & ants?? Why couldn't it be butterflys & fairies? At least they would be nicer to look at - LOL. Hope it starts to clear soon... xx

  3. Thanks Chrissy and Jo. It is good to know what the debris is as it was scary not knowing. Now I know it is nothing to worry about I should be able to keep calm and carry on :)
