Poor Charlie with a Lampshade on his head

Poor Charlie had a metal plate put in his knee three weeks ago at Noel Fitzpatrick's ( The Supervet )

Ouch !

He is only allowed three five minute walks a day at the moment. He was playing with a bigger dog and damaged his Cruciate Ligament. Our last Spaniel had the same operation in both of his back legs.  He has his post operative appointment in three weeks time. He is coping very well so far bless him
I have been working very hard in the garden.  I will do a Kitchen Garden Review very soon

  1. He does look sorry for himself but the lampshade protects the wound from licking! Will we be seeing him on TV I always watch as Noel such a clever man well clever is not strong enough, an amazing man

    1. They were filming while we were there but not Charlie. They were filming a Lady with a LOT of little Dogs. I guess she will be in the next series so we will look out for her. Noel operated on our last Spaniel giving him a new lease of life. What a wonderful Man.

  2. My first dog (Hamlet) broke a leg during a postal strike, and the Vet' couldn't get the right sized plate. He had to use a bigger one than was necessary, and poor Hamlet walked with one paw pointing outwards ever after. He didn't seem to mind!
