Embroidery TAKE A STITCH TUESDAY 2012

I have nearly caught up with a few more stitches for the TAST challenge.
This is my pretty pathetic attempt at stitching a cottage in Scotland we lived in for seven years
I have used French Knots, Buttonhole Stitch, Satin Stitch, Wave Stitch, Couching and Coral Stitch.
I am not happy with the roof as it looks as if all the slates have blown off ! I will do a bit more stitching on the roof when I have time : )
The cottage was haunted when we lived there. I wonder if it still is

  2. It looks pretty good to me. I couldn't have lived there if it was haunted - I have a bit of a thing with old buildings and their occupants!!

  4. Nice work Marion!
WOW... A HAUNTED HOUSE! That's exciting.
The block of apartments I presently live in was built on a very old Roman cemetery site. I found out about this only a few years ago, but we have never had any ghost sightings up to now.

  5. Luckily the ghosts were harmless. They loved playing tricks on me so I guess even ghosts must get bored sometimes ! Marion x
