I have just returned from Bath. We stayed at ELTON HOUSE which has been restored by THE LANDMARK TRUST Charity

We went on a Ghost Walk on Thursday evening. We heard about the many Ghosts in Bath

This bedroom was spooky. None of us wanted to sleep in it

 We saw Orbs and had goosebumps as soon as we walked into it !

I hope to return to Bath. It is a wonderful City

If you stay at The Wardrobe this will be the view of Salisbury Cathedral you will see from the dining table as you eat...

The double comfy bed you could sleep in....

The cosy lounge you could relax in especially as there is no Television. Enjoy the Cathedral bells and the lovely view or visit The Rifles Museum downstairs. Chill out here with a bottle of wine and good company....

If I ever win enough on my few Premium Bonds I will book a few nights At " The Wardrobe " in Salisbury. Until then I will just show you the above photos I took when I visited The Wardrobe recently.

LANDMARK TRUST My little knitted Woodspring Priory Mouse

I attempted to knit a mouse while we were staying at Woodspring Priory.  She is called......Woodspring !  The pattern was a bit too complicated for me.  I couldn't work out how to knit her in the round.  I plaited her legs and arms instead of knitting them.  I have to hide her from our four cats !

LANDMARK TRUST Spooky fun at Sackville House in East Grinstead

It is always fun going to a Landmark Trust property with my sister. The properties are old so we hear lots of spooky noises. 

Sackville House is in the centre of East Grinstead.  It has so much character.  For other people's photos of it see the flickr page as my sister would never forgive me if I put our other funny holiday photos of it on my blog !

LANDMARK TRUST Holiday Woodsford Castle May 2011

I have my eye operation next week so we have had a few short breaks. We have just returned from Woodsford Castle.  We last went there in 2008.  It belongs to the Landmark Trust who have lots of Historic Houses you can stay in.  I love this Castle. I took lots of photos.  This is just a few of them to show why I love it !

LANDMARK TRUST Watercolour painting at SILVERTON PARK STABLES

I made and left this thank you card for the Housekeeper at Silverton Park Stables after a lovely peaceful short break.  There are no televisions in Landmark Trust Properties so we always take something to do.  I managed to paint the apple following the instructions in the 10 minute Watercolours book
